The Tyrolean climbing fir

The flexible solution for work in the field

Safe work - even where conventional ladders fail: The TIROLER STEIGTANNE is the ideal solution for demanding operations in the field, in gardening and landscaping, in agriculture, and for maintenance work on house and yard.
  • Secure stand on slopes and uneven ground
  • Movable foot for maximum adaptation to any terrain
  • Detachable and easy to transport
  • Robust construction for professional continuous use

The advantages

The TIROLER STEIGTANNE is a special ladder construction with only one beam and side-mounted steps. What initially seems unusual offers decisive advantages in practice. The movable foot ensures that the ladder adapts flexibly to the ground and stands stable even on sloping or uneven surfaces. This makes it ideal for a variety of work in the field, such as fruit harvesting, tree care, forestry and forestry work, as well as maintenance and care assignments in hard-to-reach areas.

Safety above all

The TIROLER STEIGTANNE is a safe and practical work tool for forestry and forestry work. learn more

With rungless upper part and movable foot 16 rungs = 5.61m; with plug-in fork and movable foot 20 rungs = 5.91 mFrom the point of view of occupational safety, this single-beam ladder is superior to all other leaning ladders on trees. Only a ladder suitable for the intended application is also a safe ladder. A wrong ladder poses dangers. The Federal Association of Agricultural Trade Associations Headquarters for Accident Prevention provided suggestions for the construction. The Board of Trustees for Forestry Work and Technology (KWF) has also tested this single-beam ladder in practical work.

The single-beam ladder is a special ladder for use on trees. It is so stable because, unlike the normal leaning ladder, it only has two fixed points, one in the fork of the branch and one on the articulated foot.

The TIROLER STEIGTANNE is a comfortable and above all safe working tool. Whether used for fruit harvesting, tree pruning, work in forestry facilities and hunting operations, tree care in parks, or even in the work of bird protectors, the TIROLER STEIGTANNE has always proven to be an ideal working tool. The movable foot with knife edges guarantees an absolutely secure stand on grown soil in all inclined positions. For concrete or asphalt floors, a foot with rubber knobs was developed, which also rests non-slip. The rungless upper part allows insertion into branch forks even at the outer branch end. With the additional part 'plug-in fork', the TIROLER STEIGTANNE can be safely placed on the tree trunk.

The single-beam ladder consists of individual elements that can be plugged together. A joint foot with knife edges, a joint foot with rubber knobs, a rung section with 4 rungs that can be plugged together multiple times, an upper part without rungs - is always plugged onto the top rung section - for better insertion into the branches, as well as a plug-in fork for leaning against tree trunks, which can be plugged against the upper part without rungs. This plug-in fork has a hard rubber insert to prevent damage to the tree bark.

Due to the disassemblability of the single-pole ladder, there are no transport problems. You can transport the TIROLER STEIGTANNE in the trunk of a car. Another advantage of this ladder construction is the variable height. You can simply assemble the TIROLER STEIGTANNE according to your individual needs.

You see, the TIROLER STEIGTANNE is versatile and offers the highest possible safety, and this safety should be of value to you. How often do you reach for a branch or fruit beyond your range of action and then it happens. This is where the TIROLER STEIGTANNE stands out. Negative experiences and accidents related to the single-pole ladder have not been known so far.

This is how the TIROLER STEIGTANNE is used:

  • Rungless top part for inserting into branch forks. (Plug-in fork cannot be attached here).
  • Movable foot with knife edges for setting up on natural grounds. For example: lawns, dug-up soil, forest floor, as well as on snow or ice surfaces.
  • Movable foot with rubber knobs for setting up on almost all surfaces. For example: concrete or asphalt surfaces. Plug-in fork for leaning against tree trunks. (Can only be attached to the rung part).
  • Rung part can be stacked multiple times. You determine your desired length (max. 5 pole parts).
