A clean cut

Here beats the productive heart of the company. Proudly, the laser operator places his hand on the control panel of his familiar laser cutting machine.

Laser cutting and laser engraving

"At first, it was not always easy to get into the programming and operating functions of the new system," reveals the expert in laser cutting and laser engraving. However, now humans and machines understand each other excellently.

Around the clock, the laser cuts with precise cuts into delicate patterns as folding templates for the bending shop into the unrolled component. On the monitor at the control panel, the operator sees the progress of the laser cutting on the current sheet in real-time. With its 4,000 watts of power, the laser beam enables extremely fine separation of aluminum and steel sheets without visible burr. Downtimes are not planned here. The system is monitored continuously via a data line, which guarantees high uptime. The fact that the system is also literally an interface between the design and production of the final product becomes clear when the data templates are directly transferred from design to production. Thus, the implementation of designs and drafts is done "Just in Time".
